You'll have to navigate to the mini-mace portion of the
justusproductions.com website, then go into OGRe, much as for MACE.
You'll know you're in the right place if the left side tabs are green.
You can get directly to the right part of the OGRe at
http://justusproductions.com/ogre/con_minimace/index.php
<http://justusproductions.com/ogre/con_minimace/index.php>

Right now, I have LA Dedication/Xenophobia, LG SHE7-04, SHE7-05 and
GRM7-IN? HammerFall. I also have some WH:DP on the schedule, but I
have to get those approved by campaign staff.

Also, I've just discovered that the sign-up is broken. I'll get with
the OGRe Mage to have it fixed.

No, Mountaineers are not typically part of a Battle. The vast majority
patrol the Lortmils and Lorridges, and IIRC, a some units went down to
the PoU with the Army.

Senior Mountclimber is equivalent to Staff Sergeant, per the Mountaineers
section of the Military Organization document. Thus, translate that rank to the
aforementioned charts.

I have a friend that's a captain, and I want my mountaineer to join her battle
down in the POU.
Where
does this mountaineer fit into the command structure of the battle as
pictured and detailed on pages six and seven of the GRM military
document (7.0).

Where do I fit in??

Thanks,
Adam Dittmer

YeoGaCon
April 25 - 27, 2008
Chattanooga, TN

YeoGaCon 2008

Yeomanry + Georgia = YeoGaCon!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is going to be a great chance to play the YEO year sevens and
what year eights are available in order. So if you're coming in from
out of town, you can get the full Yeomanry experience. Also we'll
have the SHE year sevens and whatever SHE year eights are available,
so you can play them in order and get the full Sheldomar experience.

This con is still in the planning stages. Prices, slots, scenarios,
and location may vary. Given that this is the last year of the
campaign, we are making a rather optimistic guess on how many YEO and
SHE mods may be available by April 2008. We'll keep this site updated
as best we can.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To guarantee yourself a seat at the table, then you must register,
pay, and sign up for slots as soon as registration opens. We will not
have enough room or GMs to expand beyond the current schedule.

Click here to see a grid of slots and scenarios.
http://www.warhorn.net/yeogacon/schedule/grid.php

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Location
How close can you be to Atlanta and still be technically within the
Yeomanry? The answer is approximately 1,000 yards. I-75, exit 1A, just
inside the Tennessee border.

GMs
A dedicated crew of GMs is needed for this con.

GM rewards:
1. If you GM six slots, you get a free hotel room, which you will
share with up to three other GMs.
2. There will be WotC swag that is divided among the judges.
3. Judges get to play one game free for each slot they GM.
4. Judges get to preregister a month before open registration. Even
if you GM just one measly slot, you get in early registration!

Registration will open for judges in February 2008!

If there is a judge and players out there that are interested in
playtesting GRM 7-IN5 Hammerstrike before the end of the year could you
email me at grimnim (at) yahoo (dot) com.

Hammerstrike is a two round interactive that after it premiers in
interactive form will have a non-interactive form that can be played
for months later (an interactive mission game; played like a regular
scenario but using interactive rules for APL, gold and experience. It
is a no-item access interactive, meaning no items or spell access
possible in this game.

Prelude, Forest of Caverns
CY 597 - Winter Solstice

The leaves of the Traveling Tree rustled its warning for several
moments before disgorging a pair of humans, a half-elf, and a wolf
with an elf strapped to its back. All four quickly turned away from
the ancient oak and hurried across the upper bridge which connected
it to the battle platform and war rooms of an adjacent ironwood tree.

It was only after they had passed the elven warband already on the
ironwood platform that the lead elf spoke. "Curious that only elves
die on your watch, Kialla," he commented without turning around.

All four newcomers stopped in their tracks. Gloves did nothing to
hide the white-knuckled grip clenching her sword, but the human woman
remained silent.

The half-elven druidess beside her, however, felt no such
compulsion. "Don't you have someplace else to be, Tetheril?"

"Regrettably, I won't bear witness to whatever excuse she manages to
give Prince Caelir this time. Do try to come up with something new
and interesting this time, Kialla; I would hate for the Prince to be
bored listening to reports of your inadequacies."

The door to one of the nearby war rooms opened to reveal an elf in a
pristine white shirt and matching green and gold vest and pants. A
lap-harp rested in a sling against his back, and a white film covered
his eyes. His head was tilted, as though he had been listening to
the conversation.

Tetheril gave a sour look to the blind elf, then gestured impatiently
to his wizard. With a word of magic, the elven warband disappeared.

"I swear, one of these days, I'm going to leave Tetheril stuck in a
tree," the druidess muttered under her breath.

The Flan warrior at her side began to laugh. "Don't, Windsong -
hurts.... too much," his knees buckled as he began to cough up
blood. Both women immediately reacted to support him, half-carrying
him through the open door.

"Dammit, Mathionwy, why didn't you tell me you were that injured?"
Windsong demanded.

"Wasn't about to give Tetheril the satisfaction. Besides, you're
tapped out."

The druidess tossed a quartet of wands onto a table of used
equipment, then snuck a glance at Kialla, who had not spoken a word
since their return, and saw the death-grip the ex-princess still had
on her sword. "Come on, Mathionwy; let's get you to someone who has
some spells left." With a nod to her superiors, Windsong guided her
animal companion and the injured warrior through the far doorway onto
the balcony beyond, and firmly pulled the door shut behind her.

Kialla swore as she flung out her arm, sending an already cracked
buckler spinning into the wall.

"Useless.... burnt out.... crap...." Each phrase was punctuated by
another piece of equipment hitting the wall; a scrollcase, a pair of
wands, and a bandolier empty of glass vials.

The elven harper remained silent.

Kialla yanked a trio of empty quivers and hurled them at the growing
pile. "And why can't they enchant these things to hold more arrows?"

Still, Tal waited.

Body shaking in anger, Kialla slammed her fist into a table with
enough force to make it crack in protest. Energy spent, Kialla
slumped against the wall.

At that, Tal stepped forward. His keen ears had picked up the catch
in Kialla's breath every time she'd spoken. He reached out, fingers
tracing from her arm down the side of her armor until they found the
huge dent in the side of Kialla's mithril breastplate - and the fresh
blood still oozing out from beneath it. With a gentle touch and a
word of magic, the bleeding stopped.

"Tell me we're winning, Tal," she half-joked in exhaustion.

"Behave," he chided softly. "You are not the one responsible for the
lives lost in this war, Kialla."

"Good to know at least *some* of the elves think so," she retorted,
and regretted her words instantly; the elven harper's support had
never been in question. "I'm sorry, Tal. Just.... tell me some good
news. Tell me any news, even."

"There was a disruption in Shibboleth. The heralds report House
Doulonfon was attacked and suffered casualties."

Oathbinder, the elven longsword that appeared on the crest of House
Lizhal, clattered to the floor as Kialla's breath
quickened. "Bedivane?" she managed to ask in a strangled whisper.

The elf paused a moment, considering her condition; now was not the
time to wax poetic about the heroics of a 12-year old. "You son is
fine, Kialla."

"What else?" she prompted as she retrieved her sword and set it back
into its sheath.

"The dual-rampant banner of the Axewood has been sighted at
Dourstone, assisting the Greyhill militia with creating a trench
defense around the shelter-town. Also, at least one of the leads you
sent the heralds to was good; a little bird brought us the details we
needed."

"At least *something* has gone right," Kialla tilted her head back
and rested it against the wall, "though I'm surprised a silver raven
made it this far."

"It wasn't silver."

Kialla's head came forward with a snap. "The Midnight Ravens? I
hate not knowing the price until later," she muttered as she crossed
her arms. "Still.... at least we won't have to waste time verifying
it. Galimar Withington is unerring, if naught else. What of the
ones I sent for?"

The blind elf tilted his head for a moment, as though listening to
something. "Your bannerman leads them here even as we speak."

"Good. Has She arrived yet?"

Tal smiled. He wondered if it was a human affectation, or if it just
ran in the family. King Kimbertos never spoke the archdruidess's
Reynard Yargrove's name, either.

"Tal....?" Kialla prompted.

The bard's lips pressed into a thin line, but he said nothing as he
nodded towards a corner of the equipment room.

A pair of golden eyes pierced the darkness as a large, black panther
stepped from the shadows.

Kialla paled. "Damn."

From what I've heard of 4th Ed, almost.

It's like here's the MtG brand.

Here's the DnD brand.

Both have collectibles (MtG: Cards; DnD: Minis).
Both have an online component.
Both have books about the worlds they encompass.

;)

Sounds like you had bad luck. There were several LG cards in this batch (I
think around half of them) and some of those were quite nice, such as Lucky
Slip which lets you automatically escape a grapple.

If the powers to be deem them useable for LG, then there will be a
Dispel Confusion that makes them legal. Check the RPGA main page at
Wizards.com to check.

I got my Season 3 cards in yesterday. This is my first time actually
getting the cards, so I was pretty excited about it. But, just as I
was expecting, I didn't get any LG cards. I got 3 of the 5 Xen'Drik

For reference:
Knowledge is Power: Use card to use skill ranks in Knowledge (Arcana)
as Caster Level for check or Dispel check.

Ancestral Echos: Use card for a +5 bonus on a Knowledge check even
with no ranks, yet take a -2 Concentration and Int/Wis checks. Can
also use to reveal an adventure secret. Same penalty.

Infernal Consort: Spend Action Points (Yeah, we have those...) to

Hey Michael,
Let me explain the reason that we did have WUkon set up this way.
Usually this con is about multi round mods. Our experience from last
year was that even when it mattered the most for time, people tended
to finish earlier anyway. However enough people have told me off list
that they would like the slots changed back to 4 hour slots and I'm
going to comply with that request. But honestly, I have had a lot of
personal events to happen to me within the past month and I haven't
gotten around to doing it just yet. Just thought I would give you
some insight into the way my crazy mind worked ^_^.

It has been pointed out to me that the slots at WuKon are only three and a
half hours long. Putting aside that most modules can't be completed with
any sort of enjoyment in that time, some events are timed (such as Dungeons
of Castle Blackmoor which you have four hours to complete) or are so large
that completing them even in a standard length slot is difficult (from what
I hear Rangers Lead the Way falls here).

Could whoever is in charge of setting the schedule rethink the length of the
slots? I don't know if there are venue limitations that are dictating this
schedule, but extending the slot length on Friday and Sunday shouldn't be a
problem. As for Saturday, if you really want to have four slots Dragon Con
does it, so copy their schedule (8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, 5pm-9pm, 9pm-1am).

There are going to be a lot of unhappy people if their slot gets cut short
and they have to rush to their next table (or as tables fall behind and are
late finishing, it will play havoc with the rest of the schedule).

Yes it is. The Two-Two is part of the AoV. As far as I know, it's
not

been mentioned in any mods through year 6. I haven't re-read all of

the year 7s I've played. I don't know of any NPCs in the Two-Two.
