THANKS
First off thanks Kristi for sending me the RPGA membership card.

ANY RPGA DM
I was hoping that I could send a pdf copy of my character sheet to one
of the RPGA DMs that troll the group. I'm not sure when I'm going to
be able to meet face to face do to the fact that my unit has been
called to go overseas. But I'd at least like to know that my character
is good to go or if I need to change something on it. Thanks to which
ever DM helps.

I responded to you the first time you asked. There is a group and one such
person is Steve Pochini and another is Mike Powell. Mike is an instructor over
at the base. You can email Mike at mt44p@... . Were you by chance a
linguist for your first job?

You keep the little card part with your number. Ignore the parent/guardian
information, since you're not in continental Europe, but that half has the
mailing address so don't discard it. Fill out the other info, fold & tape
the postcard, stamp it, and send it!

It takes a while to get into the system. Eventually, you can sign up for
Player Rewards (go to
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/rewards/welcome and click on the
"sign up" button all the way at the bottom). Player Rewards however is not
required-- you can use the number on the card to play right away if the
opportunity arises.

What is needed is for a moderator with access to chuck the topic by taking the

Pre/Post I don't know about - though I suspect there are some locals
who might entertain some extra sessions.

MM - the game area should be open the duration of the con, so tables
shouldn't be an issue - if you want to try & schedule something (& can
snag a willing GM), I'll gladly provide the Modules for your Madness.
if you could settle on what you were playing prior to arriving, I can
have the ARs ready...

Alas, I've found in recent years that I cannot get by on 2-3 hours of

Now don't let that confuse you into thinking there isn't any water in
Gerogia... it's just that it's all stuck in the air and refuses to
come out! (Thank goodness for air conditioning!)

Stuff appears from the Dragonomicon all the time, though its mostly on the item
side. I have seen a PRC before...once.

             Per the latest LGCS:

The rules options in this document are divided into two types of

access. If a rules option is not included in this document, you

must have campaign documentation Opening it for your PC.

• Open: A PC may take advantage of Open rules items if it meets all

the prerequisites. If you gain campaign documentation

granting you access to a new rules option, that effectively Opens

that rules option for that PC.

• Closed: A PC may not take advantage of any rules item listed as

Closed, ever.

All base classes, prestige classes, feats, spells, and domains from

the core rulebooks (PH, DMG, MM) are considered Open unless

specifically noted otherwise in this appendix. In addition to the

core rulebooks, rules options from many other books are

available to players, as listed in this appendix.

Dragon Shaman is not from the PHB, DMG, or MM, and is not on the Open

list of base classes. Therefor, you may not take it without campaign

documentation opening it for you. However, it is also not on the

closed list, so it is possible that you could get access to it

(though I don't know of any mods that grant it). Likewise, the

Dragonrider prestige class and the Dragon Steed feat are not listed

as being open or closed, thus you must obtain access (though with the

Draconomicon not being listed as a sourcebook for the campaign,

options from it may be less likely to appear on ARs).

None of that material is open access, so you'll have to find access through
modules or metacampaign organizations.

My apologies for anyone who may receive this email multiple times due
  to cross-posting.

Dragon*Con 2007 will be held August 31^st through September 3^rd in
sunny Atlanta, GA. We will be offering a classic Dungeons & Dragons
event along with 22 events from the following organized campaigns:
Living Greyhawk (RPGA), Living Kingdoms of Kalamar (RPGA), Living
Arcanis (PCI), and Witch Hunter: Dark Providence (PCI). Look for
Gaming Pre-registration and Event information to be posted in the
next 2 weeks.

Along with this role playing goodness comes the very great need of
judges to provide hours of entertainment to the folks attending the
show. If you would like to be one of the few, the proud, the
Dragon*Con 2007 Judges, this is your lucky day. It just so happens
that I have some space still available (okay, who am I kidding, I
have lots of space available) for such enterprising and dedicated
individuals to join the elite Dragon*Con Judging Staff. All you have
to do to sign up is send an email to

alli.dragon@... <mailto:alli.dragon@...>
(alli<dot>dragon<at>gmail<dot>com)

and indicate your desire to join the team. You should receive a reply
to your email within 48 hours, confirming that your request has been
received and you have been added to the list (and the yahoo group).

Now, I figure benefits are needed as compensation to all my hard
working judges. So, for those that are interested in that sort of
thing, the perks for judging at Dragon*Con 2007 will be:

Judge 3 slots and get free gaming (to a maximum of 6 free gaming
slots) and preferential gaming registration.

Judge 5 slots and get free admission to the show (but not free games)
and preferential gaming registration.

Judge 7 slots and get free admission to the show AND free gaming (no
limit) AND preferential gaming registration AND my undying gratitude
(which may show itself in all sorts of ways).

All judges get the opportunity to participate in slot 0s of the
events (as they become available) and will be subscribed to the
Dragon*Con 2007 Organized Campaign Judges (dcrpgajudges) list to help
facilitate the scheduling of slot 0s and also to make it easier for
the judges and the coordinators to communicate.

Hope to see you all at Dragon*Con….

Thank you for the reply. Currently we are seeking a group to play.
However, coming to the far side of durham is not possible for me.
Currently we are trying to form a solid team to play at Lost Goblin or
my home in Fuquay Varina.

If anyone is interested and has a lvl 6 character or above and is
interested in playing in RHoD please email me off the list. Over the
next few weeks I will be looking to forming a group.
