Disclaimer:
The following IC may contain small spoilers for modules and favors
contained within those modules. I believe I was generally unspecific.
Following the IC section is an OOC section which may contain more
(slightly bigger) spoilers to playable Geoff mods and plots. It also
may give some pre-insights into any final IC posts which may be good
but also may make things less mysterious. So be forewarned when reading.
Apologies in advance to anyone I misrepresented in this post whether
player or NPC. I wrote this alone, it is not canon and I did not
check with anyone when writing this besides AR references (and an
occasional doc or Yahoo!Group).

IC:
"Hold. Do not advance."

The blonde haired archer squinted at the note as if it would help
confirm what it had said. He shrugged, his newly acquired mithril
shirt making only the softest chinking noise, and looked up at his
companions.

"Wut say?" said the huge barbarian in front of him, greataxe still
dripping with clerical gore.

"It says, `Hold. Do not advance.' We are to hold here I suppose,"
the Suel replied. He looked over at the other mounted archer who
shrugged as if to say `maybe we're done for today'. He recognized
they had burned through a medium amount of their healing resources
although they had been trying to conserve them knowing the day would
be long. Still, it would not do to disobey the orders of a superior.

How well he knew.

---

"Our orders are to hold here and await further orders."

John ap John, also known as John `the Arrow' to other members of the
Brenin's Fist felt like he was reliving an earlier experience. After
clearing the tunnels in the Shadow Plane, further orders had come for
him to report back to the Fist to help guide some troops into battle.
The rank of Corforral did not come without power nor did it come
without responsibility.

John looked around himself at the other members of the Griffon's Watch
watching him and listening, Saethwri all. If he listened further out,
he was sure he'd hear other leaders giving similar orders to the
Rhyfelwri and other units around him. He was told, not so subtly,
that standard soldiers would become their worst enemy against some of
the enemies they would face. John hadn't seen any of this in his
earlier missions, except for the fact that in the end it was true.
The shadowed elves that shot at them earlier were proof of his order's
concerns and backed his superiors' words…if there was even any doubt.

John had outgrown doubt and, yes, even fear over the last couple
years. The son of a farmer, John had enlisted as soon as able to
squire then serve the Brenin in any way possible. He had learned as
he grew up too quickly to simply trust the Shield Maiden to show him
what was right. He touched the phylactery on his forehead and smiled
grimly, noting that it never hurt to have magic to back up faith.

The men around him looked like farmers with weapons as well. Standard
Saethwri were given a longbow and a buckler if they did not already
own one and 10 gold coin a year for other supplies. Many of the
longbows and most of the bucklers were marked with Griffon's Watch
sigils meaning that these people did not own their own provisions.
Watching them, John's hand tightened reflexively on his own longbow,
which he had owned before joining the Fist. He had to ask his
superiors what to do with the second longbow not wanting to cost the
army any extra money, he remembered fondly.

As he looked around reminiscing, some of his men looked back at him
and nodded or smiled faintly. John had always wondered how they had
accepted having a Suel rank above them especially after his
experiences with the Cauldron of Racism, but the majority of the Flan
people seemed to be acceptant of half breeds, Suel and other mixed
races amongst them.

John was astride Starlight, his elven moon charger, which was a gift
from the elves of the Hornwood. Other than that and the adamantine
longsword at his side he was far from the typical mounted paladin. He
wore a shirt of mithril chain rather than heavier armor and carried a
fine longbow instead of a lance. He wore a buckler typical of archers
or the occasional arcanist but not of heavy cavalry. His tabard was
white with the symbol of the sun (Pelor) on it and his cloak clasp
marked him as a follower of Mahayene. On his saddle was a silvered
warhammer and a wand, both within easy reach. There was also a quiver
marked prominently with the holy symbol of Ehlonna.

Starlight pawed the ground anxiously smelling smoke.

John nodded and pet her neck gently.

"Hold steady men. They are burning the forest to smoke out any
remaining enemies. If you look closely," John added with confidence,
"you can see the wolfpacks finishing the final `obstacles' and
entering the city proper."

John smiled as they waited longer, occasionally moving slightly
forward as a group with the rest of the Fist in the area. It was
amazing to him that they had all been called out, as since CY595 they
had been a seasonal unit. Something great must be occurring.

Almost as if to answer his thoughts, John heard a bark of panic
followed by several gasps behind him. John's brow furrowed as he
turned and raised his bow, never remembering even pulling the arrow
and started to say "What in the…" though his voice left him trailing
off in disbelief and his statement was never finished.

A few men screamed and bolted as John sighted the target and moved his
bow to follow it. He held his shot though, and muttered soothing
words to the remaining troops around him. It was a dragon, but what
stilled John's shot was the fact it was metallic…copper or bronze (RE:
Duke Owen)…John had never had an eye for that.

John squinted. On its back appeared to be a Suel woman who was
laughing as she flew and carried a wand (RE: Duchess Calisse Skotti).

"It can't be…" John said quietly mostly to himself but more movement
behind him and a rush of fellows, some flying, some mounted, a few
gliding through the earth or in other magical forms passed by his
regiment. He noticed some wore familiar blue scarves which sealed all
indecision from his mind. Did one wink? (RE: Asmond)

Shaking his head he wondered what was going on and looked to his
superiors. There was Cadofyth Morgan Hazeleye (RE), pointing and
conferring with a group of men. One was…ex-Cadofyth Parn (RE)!? One
of the other men in the group blew a horn and a few of the regiments
started moving forward. Leading was Cymorth Eben ap Llwellyn (RE) and
Cofforol Tathan ap Ben (RE). Others began to move forward as well,
individuals with purpose.

"Sir?" one of his men asked questioningly.

"Not us," John replied. "Those fools. There must be something up
their sleeves…leading men to the slaughter before the wolfpacks are done."

"Sir!" one of the women in his group yelled, and he met her gaze and
turned. Entire squads were breaking way for another group of troops
moving forward. John shook his head, amazed as he tried to keep track
of what was going on.

Elves, hundreds of them moved forward. Most were groups of wood
elves, their allies and the main force of this fight, in pairs or
groups of a dozen. The Canotaure (RE: Darlon Lea) was amidst them,
shouting orders and gesturing with his bow. The sight so comfortable,
John went to give him a salute then stopped himself not wanting to set
a bad example for the men. Fire elementals, djinn and gensai followed
one man, fire headed, both literally and emotionally, and not to be
outdone (RE: Lachion Stonehouse). There were also small groups of
grey elves, their magi surrounded by elite elven warriors (RE:
Hornwood Elves), and high elves, ignoring those around them (RE:
Oytwood Elves) and while these were fewer, the numbers were still
noteworthy and their presence doubly so.

From their flank came the sounds of wagons and these were no standard
wagons but dwarven war wagons pulled by mountain ponies many pulling
siege machines. Whichever clan had sent these had spared no expense
(RE: Three Hold Thane, Underfoot Clan). Each wagon group was lead by
a priest of Moradin who chanted prayers both blessings and bolsterings
upon the dwur behind them. Each priest was distinct (RE: Clan High
Priests of Moradin) though similar glowing with the radiance of
daylight to remove the shadows from in front of them and providing a
beacon for their people. Another dwur who stood out was one who
walked alone but with the confidence as if he walked with an army of
dwarves. This one was dressed in full battle plate and carried a
greataxe as well as a greatsword made of adamantine. He did not look
around him despite the spectacle, like John, his men and even those in
the various troops moving forward did, but instead moved towards the
city as if with a single purpose in mind (RE: Helm of Deepholm).

From a nearby copse of trees there was suddenly the sound of music. A
small group of bards arrived, lead by one in particular, who smiled
and nodded to the army before angling his group to move to the front
of the elven and dwarven armies (RE: Gwydion of the Twained Elm).
Following behind him were a large number of animals…wolves, bears,
snakes, birds and several exotics. As John watched, several of the
animals changed form and became men and women and more druids exited
the copse (RE: Old Faith Druids). He recognized the golden haired
Gwenllian the Archdruid of Gyruff also known as "the Eglantine" (RE).
The Archdruid moved with a sadness that punctuated her steps but with
an assertiveness that could not be denied.

From the east, a group of elves and humans broke from the tree line.
They were non-distinct, though seemed to be being led by a youngish
woman with fiery hair (RE: Adwen merch Lyneth). What set them apart
from the troops they joined were the symbols of a unicorn rampant back
set with 2 fiery suns.

Another group spurred from the Brenin's Fist previously unnoticed
before amongst all else almost as if they had belonged. This group of
mounted Watchers was lead by a female Watcher who while not old, like
most adventurers looked like she had seen too much (RE: Watcher Vilina
Lea). Many of their number were dressed for full battle in plate with
lances or shields, however, a few were dressed like John, in light
armor with bows or light weapons. All handled their mounts with ease
and none broke formation as they moved to join the growing horde.

Overhead giant eagles flew forward as well. They were largely
unmounted and unsaddled marking them distinct and separate from the
units in the Brenin's Fist. They seemed to be lead strangely by a
younger eagle that almost looked like he had something to prove (RE:
Elaar, the Giant Eagle).

From the west came more noise, that could be heard over even the
bardic music and the noise of troop movements. Small machines that
drove themselves but roared with life, piloted by gnomes (RE:
Quikbucon Clan, King Garnet), moved supplies with quick speed. On the
back of the moving devices strange weapons could be seen: sealed pots
with skulls on them, sticks that started as normal wood and ended in
metal rods with holes in them, and red candles with wicks but not made
of wax. The roaring machines and gnomes moved forward with great
speed, heading towards the city as well.

Behind the gnome army walked stranger creatures though they did not
instill the fear or panic they had in the years past. Two stone
giants walked (RE: Cnut, Bjorn Gallofsen), their steady paces
impressively matching the speed of the gnome carts. They pointed
around mostly motioning at the siege engines or gnome carts while
whispering to each other. Behind them came a raucous band of fey
mostly redcaps and satyr but with some beautiful sprites, sylphs and
other creatures of beauty and horror unknown to John. Someone (RE:
Queen Maeve, A Fey King) had sent a fey army as well.

Individuals darted amongst the armies making their presence known
through appearance, force of arms or force of personality. Of note
were a bootless dwarf (RE: Shield Lord Torm Rockbender) walking next
to a boisterous armored and armed dwarf whose booming laugh could be
heard across the entire battlefield (RE: Arglwyth Krelor Deepforge),
the First Ward of the Olwythi gan Gyruff (RE: Cuthalion Strongbow)
walking by the tree line seemingly alone and gesturing continually
from it to the city, Lord Padrig ap Bedwyn (RE) walking with his head
held high and with purpose, his gaze never faltering from whatever he
knew his mission was and a timeless looking elf whose eyes were
crescents nodding at everyone seemingly at the same time, surprised by
nothing and yet seeming to absorb and take in everything for one could
only guess what purpose (RE: Gilrane). A plain man floated through
the crowds which broke before him (RE: Archmage Aedan of the Russet
Tower) and waited until the gaggle of skeletal chickens which followed
him (RE: Maga Elspet) passed to resume their tasks. An elven female
rode around on a fine elvish war mount, similar to John's, getting in
the way (RE: Princess Nina), while a man followed her, half draped in
shadow with blades sheathed but ready, almost continually sighing to
himself. What appeared to be a small stone man was everywhere and
nowhere at once (RE: Galimar Withington).

The masses were well armed and John could only guess they had been
supplied from groups outside their norm as well as within their own
circles with their best equipment. Their mundane (RE: Alton
Snowlocke, Merchant of Hochoch, Crastel Stonebreaker, Bolthar
Bloodstone, Bedwyn the Fat, High Seneschal Cuthalion Cuern, High King
of the Hornwood, Magnild Heinrikssen, Sir Reswald, Llwyr Melwyn
Greatarm, Glim Waywocket, Minor Gyric Nobility, Merchants of the
Market Ward of Hochoch, Griffon Chair, Gundar Kevitz) and magical (RE:
Church of Corellon, Briallen the Heatherdown, Abinar (the High
Wizard), Druidess Meleri, Bondmate of the Heart, Ffiona Ebontress,
Lorindoriel, Cadan ap Trennis) supplies with nothing short of the
best. There were even a few fey distributing locks of hair, said for
luck (RE: Sesonya the Nymph).

The men and women carrying the supplies were from all walks of life as
well. Some were not from the Fist or the elves or dwarves or other
groups but simply from Cantreval levies (RE: Argrwyth Talvan,
Caswallon the Green, Llwyr Ilan ap Dyvad, Llwyress Soliquijari) sent
to boost the numbers, to assist in any way they could. To liberate
Geoff once and for all.

John was sure there were ones working behind the scenes too.
Occasionally he heard a man or woman under his command comment and
point and something he could not see (RE: Thulis Shadowcaster,
Midnight Ravens).

Permeating the entire scene was a feeling of sadness (RE: Sierra
Blackblade) but also a feeling of hope (RE: Rube, Lone Han, Runell,
Adobiah) and light (RE: Heart of the Hornwood).

"Isn't it glorious?" a voice next to John spoke. A female blue
skinned giant (RE: Heike Heinriksdotter), as tall as the man mounted,
loped by his group, sending a smile his way. She disappeared into the
throng.

John spoke to all his men at once but to no-one. "Why haven't we
received any orders? Find out what is going on."

As he spoke, the ground shook as if struck by multiple earthquakes.
The forces gathered before him moved with tremendous unnatural speed
towards the city where the sounds of pitched battle rattled like 100
drums in John's ears. Men around him winced then held their hands to
their ears, some falling to one knee. Over it all, a roar came over
the battlefield, one of frustration and pain.

Suddenly the army attacked. How was almost impossible for John to
wrap his mind around. A spell here, an arrow there, a throwing axe, a
spear. All became a string of power, aggression, vengeance. Boulders
joined with dragon's breath, met flamestrikes, met charging wolves and
men to form a single bolt. At first the bolt was black then of
indeterminate mixed colour but the light of the dwarven priests merged
with the attack to make it a golden beam. The chorus soared as the
beam gained song and the cheers of men.

The noise almost too much for him to bear, John winced then watched
the bolt enter the city from above.

He heard an explosion over everything else and a golden light washed
over the city, the army, him. He closed his eyes and then...felt peace.

"Sir?"

John opened his eyes, blinking, and looked down. Standing next to him
was a squire, a young girl, younger than he was when he joined he
thought…though who could tell anymore. Looking back up, he saw none
of the previous signs of the chaos he had witnessed.

"Like a dream," he said quietly.

"Sir? I think it's over."

"Maybe so, little lady," he said smiling thoughtfully as the men
around him made their own conclusions as a great death rattle was
heard from inside the city. "Maybe so."

OOC (see top level disclaimer for spoiler warnings):
First off, I'd like to thank the Triad for a wonderful ending to the
premier campaign. I won't lie. I've played a lot of LG and see a lot
of BIs notably from start to finish and from the judging end. Great
plans are WAY easier to form than carry out. Great plans require
manpower and time, resources and commitment, cooperation from outside
vendors and often (non-gaming) family/friends in addition to just
ideas. I do not doubt that I have been moulded by LG as much as
become a skeptic of it. Even when sitting listening to the final
words from the Triad before the BI and looking over stat blocks most
of which I hadn't seen before or even played against, my thoughts were
the same as usual "I'll do my best to make this happen for them."

As I suspected, since the Geoff Triad was roaming or prepping, I got
stuck with what I consider the big Geoff table: Russ Vane III, Russ
Vane IV, Erich Leeser, Steve Yee (imported to us from Michigan), Bill
Altizer and my father Jonathan Tom. An unexpected addition to the
table was Cameron Logan, Bissel Triad, who I had had the pleasure of
running for the day before for the GEO premier. I was not surprised,
in fact, I had discussed with my Dad and Erich on the drive up…who
were the prime Geoff players anymore. Retirees, recognized and aside,
with rare exception (even those of us who had continued playing) did
not have new characters that were capable of playing APL16. It's the
"second stringers" the guys who had been playing casually, had come
from other regions, or had started late who were ramping up to end the
campaign with flare. Cameron aside, these were the guys I expected.

I have the honour and pleasure of gaming with these guys a lot. I
know their styles and quirks and I know they (mostly) like it straight
and not softballed. I knew I'd have fun with the table.

As is typical of me when I'm judging a BI whose stat blocks I get late
as well as when I judge high level things took a while. I bogged them
down in the first fight as well as they bogged themselves down
(special guest appearance by Sean with a touch attack of "only a 12
touch; misses"=D) and when the call was made to end the first segment
I finished the round with 2 energy drains and 2 quickened enervations
on a single character. Thank goodness for Death Ward Armor eh?

There was some discussion midway and the characters used favors and
not their resources to get themselves healed and buffed for the next
one. I thought it was a smart move.

The second segment went better and they housed the first encounter
fairly handily with good resource selections and use. Getting help
from (I believe his name was) Adam getting Erich(with the mark of the
shadow dragon)'s buffs down with greater dispelling bows was the
highlight of that. When they started healing and I read that they
only had 3 rounds between combat 1 and combat 2 I realized more fun
was starting.

As high levels do, they took it like champs. I was hammering them
pretty good and using resources realizing it was only a matter of time
but every spell I took down made my job easier later. That's how I roll;)

Jose stopped by and asked how they were doing and then saw we were
still on encounter 2 of the second segment. He said go ahead and
finish up in 2-3 more rounds. When he came back a while later and
said "Still going?" and I admitted it had only been a round he said go
ahead and remind them about using the favors to do damage. I asked if
there was a restriction and he said in this case no, just get them
through. So they dumped 200-300 damage of favors into these darkness
things to kill most of them before the 3rd round ended.

The second time Jose stopped by I asked him if when they finished if I
should start the next encounter or go ahead and send them to John who
looked bored and lonely all by himself on a table I figured would be
very loud and bad news nearer to the end of the night. He said go
ahead and start the next encounter.

Somewhere before we ended, someone from the APL12-14 table came over
and asked what my table was up to. They admitted to already being
inside the city and I knew that I had held them long enough.

Once we finished I sought out Jose again and asked him. He said go
ahead and send them over to the main table and I figured my job was
done. I cleaned up my stuff except some paper and dice (just in case)
while I watched them move over to the big table where John was
waiting. I passed over cards and suggestions to help things move
along. Tables all around were still fighting and I now was the time
to get the action really going. I asked Jose if there was anything I
could do to help and he said go ahead and go to two tables in
particular and see if the judges needed any assistance. One was Rob
Bodine who just looked incredibly frustrated but I could tell his
combat was pretty much over and his team (Boomkegs) were soon to move
to their central map and didn't need my help. The other table, I
think was being judged by Dave Hazlett who was not there when I
stopped by. So I settled in to watch the Shady combat.

I'm a big fan of big minis mainly because, well besides the fact
they're usually over the top as far as toughness goes, you don't get
to see them that often. If there were tons of gargantuan and bigger
monsters, Oerth would probably be ruled by them:P That's just not how
LG is. So when John pulled out the big black dragon I was pumped.

Talk about quick things happening, I went to pack up my stuff and the
next thing I know I turn around and Russ III is packing up his stuff.
I asked Russ IV what happened and he said "Isaiah" had been
disintegrated. Later I found out in the span of packing up 2 boxes of
minis two players had actually been disintegrated by Shady. Oi.

As I continued to watch and hear stuff like "AC60; misses" and "Who
wants to be in the anti-magic field" the other table, I am guessing
APL16, came over. I believe they were largely Marchers and I was
happy to see some familiar faces such as Nick and Sherri and also
(local) Jim Robb as well as some folks I hadn't seen before (or didn't
remember).

As things started breaking up all around us, more people (judges and
players who were done) came over to watch. I found myself realizing
that as the tables finished, the situation around was pretty much
broken down into 3 tables: low, mid (which I think was really 10-14)
and high (I guess for them 16). There was another table of 12-14 in
the other room and I think they were basically holding the line so a
bunch more monsters didn't come on the 16 table but I'm not
sure…that's someone else's story;)

This is when things got really crazy. Jose came over from the low
table and told me to go around the Shady table hitting people with
targeted greater dispel magics. Later I found out that the Heart of
the Dim had been corrupted and that was what was causing the targeting
dispels. I talked to Kyle M. who was at the low table the next
morning and he told me that for them it had started as area dispel
(not greater), then targeted and then greater dispels. As I went
around the table, some people from the low table came over with a
message that they needed a cleric. I got the general response from
the Shady combat were like "We got our own problems here, you're on
your own." Then they got hit by the dispels (as I worked myself
around)…yes I said dispels because before I got all the way around
Jose came and told me to do another round. So there went a cleric and
later a mage. I believe word eventually got to the APL12-14 table and
they sent their guys too.

Shady was doing her thing and rather effectively I think and the APL16
players seemed to be having their hands full especially after being
dispelled. Honestly, I have no idea what I was even dispelling but I
knew the players were pretty honest (or good bluffers) when they were
like "Ok, ok, ok, DANGIT!" I assume when I got a particularly
effective spell off them. The players did (I hear) get some dispels
off on Shady to even the score a little bit. Rousing cheers went up
when Shady went from HUGE (non-literal) to "smaller" (which I think
was still gargantuan, maybe?) and when I heard "AC82!" from Russ IV;)

Things seemed better in hand over at the low table with the appearance
of the APL16 cleric and mage and the APL12-14 table (good thing, holy
crow:P) and I took yet another step back to realize that each Triad
effectively was handling a table. Sean was managing the mid-table on
the Shadow plane, John was running Shady and Jose was helping the low
table and relaying effects (to me, I guess) from the low to the high.
Never before had I seen anything quite like this…usually the Triad
judges standard (or "special" tables) or is organizing on a map of
some kind but having them basically deal with all the adventurers in
these final 3 tables was really something to see.

As I said my speech at the final auction and goodbye the next day, I
relayed that there's something about cons where it's awesome when you
get to stand around and talk to folks and as you get to see faces new
and old. At this point at the BI, I found myself standing talking to
Sean Brennan (LG player from the start, Legacy of Valor, I've played
with him multiple times at SheVACon) and Rob Bodine (newerish LG
player but no less enthusiastic from the local NOVA area who played
with me on multiple occasions). I've never really felt I've been able
to express my frustration well that you go to these cons and see
people you don't see often and don't really have a chance to talk to
them. But at that time I got to stand around talk about what was
going on, how things had gone and some about 4.0. It was really good
times.

The rest of the night was really a blur. We stayed up last the slot
and probably too late. But again it was good times. As was posted,
they eventually put Shady down and only one more death I believe from
a brave rogue became tank. It was cool to see everyone come together:
Gyri, Marchers, Keoish…APL16 and 12-14s (I goaded a couple people to
get in and take their shot at being at the end of it all=)) from other
tables swooping in to save the day (note after the greater dispels
hit:P). It was cool to see eventually there was just one table, to
see the widened breath of the dragon (8 levels drained I hear "save
for ½") and to hear the cheer when she went down from Russ IV's (from
the prime table) blow.

And as the night wound down and I left the con area with Russ IV, I
remember the triad was still there as I believe was Dave D. Triad
(and con organizers), first to arrive, last to go. *toast*

One thing of note and to explain the origin of my IC post above, as I
went around dispelling people, Erich Leeser showed me his total favor
list. You'll note above that when trying to get to the third session,
Jose said that players were allowed to use multiple favors at once.
Erich had some total of favors of ~550 damage. He said my Dad had the
same. To paraphrase, "That's what happens when you play every mod in
region with the same character." And that really seals how dedicated
some of them are to the region and to their characters. Averiad to
you all=) Anyway, the Triad considered then reversed their decision
to 1 favor a round (see Shady stat block and you'll understand=)). It
was impressive to know that while the majority of damage came from the
players a ton came from (now, legally used) favors. It wasn't just
individual players slaying this dragon, it was all of Geoff. Thus the
IC dream, as this all flashed in my head when I heard about the idea
and the rules reversal and saw everything play out and thought about
writing a synopsis=) BTW, "RE" above notes all the favors, as I went
through every mod I have played and wrote them down. I did leave a
few out: folks I couldn't remember, sorry=) Explains the big mass
clumping too, otherwise this post would be another 10 pages;p

In the end, I heard a lot of rumors such as how JohnP toned down Shady
so she wouldn't kill everyone outright, how the Bondmate of the Heart
had a cyst that was controlling him and that how there was a copy of
Shadow Ingot (masquerading as the real Ingot) who was running rampant
on the mid table and how James had contributed to the stat blocks
himself. I'm not sure how much of all that I heard was true and how
much wasn't but to me that's the mystery of the game and I can sit
back, enjoy and know the premier Geoff con went well.

So thanks again to OtterCon, to the Triad, to all the judges and players.

To those of you not done, I'll be playing till the year end and then
doing a recap IC post (hopefully similar and equally awesome to the
slew that have been done so far). To me, who knows what'll happen to
my characters before December 31st? That's part of the fun. Hope
people are around to read it, but really it's for me as much as for
you all. You, especially those who already wrote beautiful closings,
probably know how that is=) Anyway, active regional people keep an
eye on LGNOVA (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/lgnova/) [my prime
base...who remembers the original RaptorCon at GMU?;)] and regional
boards for gameday info. I'll be organizing some (more) and am
available to judge here and there when people need.

For all those who I won't game with again, see again, or hear from
again. It was good times. You are good people. Keep playing if
that's your motivation. LG is proof the world is better for it.

Sorry this was so late in coming, went on vacation around the same
time as the conclusion Geoff posts=)

Best and brightest,
Joseph "Joe" Tom
