wow, 25 members!
and Miracle of miracles... I updated my website. I've been too busy
at work (re: lazy), but today I said screw it! And so I made some
minor changes and updates.
I sorted games by type.
I re-added "Roundup!" and "Target-Practice" in new format.
I've been working on the occasional new games (off and on) but I
haven't posted them because they are much more complex and have lots
of bits. I'd like to polish them before going live. One of these
years I may try to package them and sell them as actual boardgames if
I ever get time. Don't hold your breath tho.

"ticdoffus" was the originator of that concept.
I'm not sure if it ever happened...
My work is eating all my time for me, but this is exciting to have
more than 1 message a month.
Please add me to the list. I'd love to help play test!

The bad news update is that there have been no updates... as I'm very
busy with work and kids.
The good news is that my older son who is 3 is always asking to play
games. So in a couple of years, maybe I'll be posting his game ideas.
My younger son, who just turned 1, likes to mash the computer keyboard
and dance so who knows where that will lead.

"roots and shoots"
an abstract territory game, where you are growing plants which reach
out for sun, nutrients, rain, and the best position.
completely untested...

GaleGames slowly awakens from a long hibernation. See the new game,
Shrine, by guest designer Legend. The other archived games will be
mostly revived soon.
Sorry for further spam but the member (christyandbub) who sent
this "ad" has been banned.
It's ok to personally recommend other game sites but this seems like
pure spam to me.
In other news I plan to bring GaleGames website out of hibernation
in Spring '07.

Links on main page of galegames are still "disabled".
I have plans to collect and revise better games into a modest little
booklet or package. Once I get that done I am going to reorganize my
website to accomodate the booklet.

I broke the links on my site because I'm planning to overhaul the site
and maybe make a booklet collection of the better games (maybe as
adobe acrobat pages or something). The actual rules pages are still
sitting there though. Let me know which ones are lame or good. Here
is a semi-broken hidden page that has working links (please don't link
to it):

thanks!

options for a variety of scenarios too...
it would partially be getting away from paper games
but i could make a small program to generate the 24
random systems to print off and play?
then you could put it in your file area for download
as a compainion piece...
