Grunt 3rd Edition Tournament to be held July 18th
At the Guild of Blades Retail store in Madison Heights, MI

For all you Grunt players in the Detroit metro area, drop on by GOB Retail in
Madison Heights on July 18th for a live,hopefully large gathering of Grunt
players, all to be competing in a single massive multi-player battle. We'll be
kicking the tires out on the formation of the Grunt World Registry and awarding
the very first Legendary item. The event will be free and all necessary Grunt
rules books will be available, so simply bring your miniatures and dice if you
have them (and if you don't, we've got you covered there too). Never played
Grunt before? No problem. Its easy to learn and the event is free, so come join
us.

Greetings all you Grunt Fantasy Miniature gaming fans. Its been a while since
we've had an opportunity to give Grunt the sort of attention it derserves. Years
ago Grunt was taken out of print and went PDF only. But in that capacity it has
been allowed to grow and expand and flurish. The Guild of Blades now has plans
to return Grunt to print, bringing the 3rd Edition books back to retail shelves.
Coupled with this we plan to begin releasing new Grunt books again, starting
with Grunt 3rd Edition: Random Battlefields and then Grunt 3rd Edition: Heroes.
But fear not, fans of PDFs, we have no intention of removing Grunt from PDF
sales and we fully intend to release all new Grunt books on PDF at the same time
as releasing their print versions.

The Guild would like to thank all of you for helping to keep Grunt alive and for
your support. In return, we intend to support Grunt better than ever with an
organized play structure, so your Grunt armies can truly be played across a wide
sweeping competitive play arena. The Guild will be implementing its long awaited
plans to support organize play event winners with the issuance of special
powerful "Legendary Items and Weapons" which will be both tournament legal to
use with your army, and capable of being captured by other players should your
units carrying them be killed and "plundered".

The official return of Grunt to print will coincide with the release of Grunt
3rd Edition: Random Battlefields and the formal launch of the Grunt World
Registry, with an estimated launch set for mid October. Unofficially, we have
Grunt books in print and for sale locally at our GOb Retail store in Madison
Heights.
