This group is for the appreciation of the Marvel Comics Superhero FIRESTAR.
Debuting way back in 1981 in the Marvel cartoon "Spider Man and His Amazing Friends", Firestar flourished in popularity as a female super hero, finding her way into comic books as well.
Firestar debuted in comic pages in her own limited series, followed by "The Uncanny X-Men". Firestar later became a member of "The New Warriors", gaining popularity once again and becoming a member of "The Avengers".
Angelica Jones (aka Firestar) is an extremely rich and textured character, beginning as a scared and shy girl, and becoming an opinionated and strong young woman.
