An important thing to remember is that FATE is more a toolbox than a
complete game. Spirit of the Century is not the same as FATE 2.0.
It's more a specific implementation of (a theoretical, unpublished)
FATE 2.5.
Similarly, Dresden Files is a specific implementation of FATE 3.0.
How magic and damage and all that will work in Dresden will probably
not be the default setting for FATE 3.0, just the options used for
Dresden Files-based games.
We're told that the more generic FATE 3.0 rules will contain several
different options on how to handle magic, combat, and all the usual
stuff that goes into a game.
