The first thing that springs to mind is the very shortened stress
track and the method called "2/4/6" to handle consequences, of which

Afaik DFRPG will actually use a point buy system... but you can learn
more searching the playtest reports.

Definitely not: implementing magic in a way that both works and is
consistent to the source materials (the Dresden books) has been a
major task (and headache) for Lenny (and Fred, I think).
