A few questions about actual game play.

I have a few questions about actual game play. I have not gotten to run
or play Spirit of the Century yet. I'm trying to get a few people
together to play it locally. I will be using Spirit of the Century but
trying to do more of a dark and gritty take on the 1920’s. Mythical
creatures are real, as is magic but there is little interaction between
the mythical and not mythical. I’ll be running it as magic it true not
what science says. So here are the questions I have.

1. How fast do have you seen players go through Fate Points. I ask this
partly to see how many compels I'll need to work into a game session,
and partly to figure out whether or not I need to bring chits for the
plays to use for Fate Points.

2. Have any of you used the stunt-less rules if so how much of an affect
does it on Fate Points. I realized that it might very well have a huge
effect on how fast Fate Points are used.

3. Have any of you tried to run long-term campaigns with players using
Spirit of the Century, and if so what have you done about advancement?

4. Also I’m heavily considering using the simple magic system from the
wiki. Have any of you used and how well or not well does it work for you.

Thanks in advance.
David
