This has been pointed out. Specifically, Tom Martinak pointed to an
URL Bill Goichberg posted from uschess.org that has
several "commercial solicitations" on it. That post remains up.

Hal Bogner has advanced the opinion that Tim Sawmiller is doing this
in attempt to reverse the EB motion recently calling for "strict"
enforcement of the AUG. Tim has not confirmed or denied this.
Believing this to be the case, Hal Bogner has asked to be the "test
case" on this issue and has kept the url to his commercial web site
in his sig line. So far none of his posts have been removed and he
has not removed/altered the sig line.

This has been a problem with the moderation structure since the FOC
was established and empowered. The individuals involved have not
caused the problems, but rather the high rate of turnover and
political manipulation from some in USCF governance has caused the
line of what is acceptable to move drastically on a regular basis.
Even with all of the above the Issues Forum is a necessary and
successful tool for the general membership to interface with USCF
governance.
