Description
Sagatafl
(the Free Fudge-light Roleplaying gaming Engine)
is a paper-and-pencil roleplaying gaming (RPG) rules system (it's not a computer game, I repeat it is not a computer game - you play Sagatafl by having a bunch of people sit around a table and roll dice) being developped by me (originally called FFRE, I've changed the title to Sagatafl upon registering the appropriate domain). The system isn't finished yet (it takes quite a while to create a complete roleplaying gaming rules system). This mailing list is the "hottest" place for news and updates, but also very technical, and sometimes I ramble quite a bit about what's on my mind, design-wise. Those who don't need to be at the "cutting edge" of development can make do with the website at www.sagatafl.org

FFRE is not a computer game, nor a CRPG, nor a PBeM. It is also not a "storytelling" game, nor does it follow the current trend of "rules are evil, more power to the GM". If you prefer "the GM is god" and are afraid of rules, this group - and this system - offers nothing to you.
Post only in English to the group. Private emails to me may be written in English, Danish, Swedish, or any of the Norwegians.
Regrettably, this list has recently been hit by a lot of spam messages (which I've had to reject) from spambots who have joined, so from now on, you must request membership, which I must then approve. I believe that in order to do this, you will be asked by the system to explain why you wish to join this list. Don't fret, just write something to prove that you are human and not a bot.
