Hello, all:Just joined and need help. I currently have a copy of a game from
Hobby Japan covering surface combat in the Pacific in WW2. Had it for about 20
years; I believe it is called 'Yamato' but am not sure as while I can speak some
Japanese I cannot read Kanji worth a hoot.
And therin lies my need for help: the rules are all in Japanese. Fine diagrams
indicate what are probably cracker-jack rules for torpedo attacks, facing and so
on, but with no way to read the explanations the game is not playable.
So anyone have an English translation of the rules to this game? Thanks in
advance for any help you may be able to give.
Gary

... Thanks, Mike. Speaking of designing games, I have been toying with an idea for a "2nd Pearl Harbor" wargame, in which the Japanese attempt a surprise...
