EQPlayers forums has a useful function to the extent that developers and others connected with the design and implementation of Everquest read the information.

Unfortunately SoE does monitor the forums and routinely removes complaints. This web site is formed so folks can list their complaints, problems, quote GMs etc. etc. and not have their comments removed. The idea is then, that over time it will be possible to accurately tally the number of folks reporting problems of anything from losing corpses in Guild Lobby to having their Character missing from EQPLAYERS. This information could be summarized and then used to demonstrate to EQ folks that there is a major problem or perhaps if they are sloppy and unresponsive enough to gather information useful for bringing forces external to SoE to bring about necessary corrective measures.

While this forum will be unmonitored and unrestricted for membership folks who post are advised to stick to factual details --- details of use. Emotional tirades, vulgarity and etc. will make it likely that your message will be removed.

So please keep your posts focused on facts. Quotes from GM's, developers, etc. etc. are facts.

We are not against SoE. We would like to help SoE deliver the continued promise and vision of EQ. When they slip a notch or two we want to be able to tell them how and where they need to pick up the slack to keep the vision.
