I also started since day one on the launch of the PS2 version, from then I been
playing thru my pc and for the last couple of years on the Xbox 360. The latest
game update is now very cheap 19.99 for the X360 and even 14.99 for the pc and
comes with all the expansions. And there is three downloable expansion on the
making the first one of the three is now available. But overall they had added
so much new stuff and new jobs. I'm on the Phoenix server since 2003 (5 years)
my name is Vipsphinx you can look for me and I'll help you get started again. If
you want to level up fast I suggest to level red mage from the basic jobs then
for subjob white mage. So when you get to level 30 go for the Paladin, I kid you
not, I raise Paladin to level 20 in a couple of days since they are so needful.
Another big change is that now they do level sync so if you are level 10 (or
whatever) and I'm level 70, the leader of the party can sync to the lowest level
member. And you get to keep your weapons, clothes, & items. But, obviously you
abilities will adjust according to the level.
I hope this info has been helpful for you, please let me know if you have any
questions at all.
