For those who are interested, the Universtiy of Toronto has digital copies of
almost the entire 18 vol. set of Henri Dore's "Researches into Chinese
Superstition" Some of the later volumes are only in the original French, but
the first 8 or so volumes are the English translations. They are conveniently
gathered here at this link with a number of other turn-of-the-century books on
Asia.
