DEDICATION

This issue of the Dragonlance News is dedicated to the men and women serving in coalition forces in Iraq. May you find your way back to the Inn of the Last Home swiftly and safely.

Est Sularus oth Mithas.

WELCOME TO THE INN

Greetings, friends and fellow companions, and welcome back to another exciting issue of the Dragonlance News.

We’ve got plenty of exciting items this month, including interviews, a new message board, and a new online sourcebook on kender!

So grab your hoopaks, my friends, and step into the Nexus. The portal to adventure awaits!

KENCYCLOPEDIA: THIRD EDITION KENDER SOURCEBOOK

If you’re a fan of kender, love playing kender, or just want to know more about them, we’ve got a treat for you.

Kipper Snifferdoo, the webmaster of Kencyclopedia.com, has compiled the greatest resource for kender to date – the Kencyclopedia: Third Edition Kender Sourcebook. The Kencyclopedia is a collection of all things kender—the 116-page sourcebook includes racial stats for seven different types of kender, new kender prestige classes, new kender monsters, kender magic items, articles on roleplaying kender effectively and oodles of detailed information on EVERYTHING kender.

Congrats to Kipper on a job well done!

”INN OF THE LAST HOME” MESSAGE BOARDS

We’re going to be opening a new set of message boards for Dragonlance.com and the Dragonlance Nexus in the near future. Not only will you be able to talk to other Dragonlance fans about Dragonlance novels, gaming, or general setting chit-chat, you’ll also be able to ask questions directly to Sovereign Press on the Dragonlance d20 line. We’re going to do our best to get some authors involved as well.

Coming soon!

INTERVIEWS

Recently, we’ve posted an interview with Dragonlance writer and game designer Douglas Niles. We’re still taking in questions for our next interview, Dragonlance author Richard Knaak. Check out “Interviews” in our Features section on Dragonlance.com for further details.

FINAL THOUGHTS

This week has been a very trying one for us all, as the events taking place in Iraq unfolded before us on TV. I’m sure that these events feel overwhelming for many of you.

I was hoping to have some words of wisdom to pass your way, but the best I seem to come up with are “hang in there” and “everything will be okay”.

Somehow, these words seem to fall short, so I will leave you with the words of Steel Brightblade.

“All we have is each other.”
