Calamia, a world of vast beauty, unimagined splendor and mysticism, also harbors deep shadows and age old scars. Once ravaged and nearly destroyed by the forces of Israidius in ages long past, Calamia is not unfamiliar with the perils and hardships of war. However, the horrors of those times have become nothing but distant memories, legends of a time when the whole world cowered before the oncoming darkness. Yet in this twilight age the shadow of Calamia's greatest enemy has grown long, and once more spread itself over the denizens of the realm.

Once again the Israidians have returned, bringing destruction and chaos in their wake. War between the realms has begun once again. However, the Israidians aren’t the only enemies here, the world harboring many age old secrets and dark shadows that are yet to be revealed. Kingdoms are at war, the lands are in turmoil, and nothing will ever be the same again. A new age, the Demonic Renaissance, has begun.
