Re: [DRAlchemy] How...

All potions, salves, teas, solutions, etc. are (currently) made the same way:

1 herb pulp/powder + 1 catalyst + 1 water (shake or mix) = 1 potion/salve/tea

If you have a jar or bowl, you will also need a mixing stick. Place all three
elements (herb pulp, catalyst and water) into the jar/bowl, and with the stick,
mix them until you have created your prepared herb. The other method is to take
a closeable box, pouch, backpack, etc. with nothing else in it, put the three
elements into it, close the object and shake it until you have your prepared
herb.

pulp/powder: by putting your foraged/bought herb into a mortar and crushing it,
you will create one of these

catalyst: in order from strongest to weakest, dracon, tukai, seolarn, glaysker.
The dracon crystals can be bought at the alchemist, crush the crystals than
break the powder to get the most from the original crystal. Tukai stones, same
as dracon crystals. Seolarn weed can be foraged many places, crush it into a
pulp to make it an active catalyst. Glaysker flower, much easier to forage that
the seolarn, must be dried and crushed into a powder to make into an active
catalyst.

water: water from the alchemist, and most store bought 'some water' will work.
There are also many containers available into which you can FILL from natural
water sources around Elanthia. There are 3 or 4 long threads from awhile back in
the ALCHEMY section of category 4. Strategy, Tactics and Experience on the
DragonRealms message boards that cover different waters available. Read that
folder's old posts for more water info.

All this is taken from notes on my site too, if you want to reference it down
the road:

All of the other...mixtures...that you can make are either guild-related
(coughThieviescough) or are considered in-game puzzles. I can give hints on
other things if there was a specific mixture you were trying to make (other than
on poison, not going to bring the wrath of the thiefie guild down upon me...tee
hee) if you let me know specificlly which one you are trying to do.

Good luck!
Kythryn
