In our ongoing endeavors to spread Asian culture, and thanks to a sponsorship through the American Go Association, Delaware Anime Fans proudly announces the founding of the DACE Go League! The DACE Go League is an offical AGA Chapter. The League is looking for anyone, experienced or not, who's interested in playing, learning or teaching what is considered by many as the ultimate strategy game. The League will meet at each DAF meeting and everyone is welcome to join in. The equipment will be provided; all you need to bring is yourself and your curiosity. Thank You, I hope you join us.

A Brief Description:
The game originated in China around 200 BC; over the centuries, the game has spread across the rest of Asia and goes by a variety of names (Baduk, Weiqi, Igo etc). Two players take turns placing stones on a gridded board. Each attempts to take control and defend as much of the board as possible while preventing their stones from being surrounded and captured.
