Carol's advice on character concepts

This game is pretty open and players are pretty free to play just about
anything, but with freedom comes some responsibility.

1. Play something that can find allies among the other characters, or
the other players will just not know what to do with you. This game is
low on the violent conflict, in fact the conflict in this game is the
personal growth type.

2. Think about the character you want to play, then imagine the person
you like the least playing it, and think if you would like to be in that
game.

3. Freeform games work better under a cooperative style amoung the
players, anytime I have seen someone play a 'not a team player'
character, it didn't work. Sometimes very badly. This means think twice
before playing that Dauntain.
