There may be another possibility. There was another "Lee" rifle that had good
stopping power from a slightly earlier time period. That was the .45/70
Lee-Remington. Luckily, I have never been on the receiving end of this weapon,
but I have shot one, and I can tell you that it has a heck of a kick. And it
was a Navy rifle (Spanish-American War period).

Hi I think the only quibble I have and had on the "Lee" is related to the movie trying to find one. Simply, what I have is that they only made 10,000 of them....
