Definitely - tents were included. In fact several photos I've seen of
combination laundry/bath houses actually had a small wooden building in the
front
with several white tents to the background. The presence of tents, of course,
would also represent temporary housing for the railroad workers as well as
for miners who might come into town at the end of a week to rest up and take
their poke to the assayer's office.
