It's more the fact that Shahadet's Legion can be +4/+5 for ranged attacks every
turn in that particular army with no negative effects. With All or Nothing SL
can be +6/+7 and then all you need is a Strength of Osano Wo on one of the Naga
Shugenja to let them shoot again the next turn. Personally I don't put the Jade
Bow on Isha (Exp) since his modifiers can't go above +3/+3, I like to put
Shalasha as an associated personality on SL with a ranged weapon and Jade Bow.
That one unit gets the following ranged attacks every turn:
 
Under the effects of Blessings, Pearl of Strength and Pearl of Combat
Isha 4@ +3/+3
Shalasha (ranged weapon + jade bow) 2@ +5/+5
Shahadet's Legion 16@ +4/+5
691 koku total
 
So on turn one, against a TN 7 unit, -2 for long range (which is 34" with Isha),
-1 for High Strike the unit will do an average of 135 damage. This does not take
into account all or nothing, turtle shell or tainted.
 
On a best case scenario (close range of 17", Blessings, Pearl of Strength and
Combat, All or Nothing, Tainted enemy unit, High Strike, no detrimental cards
vs. TN 7 unit) the unit averages 246 damage.

The pearl effects are broken. Isha +Jade bow is nasty. Isha, Jade bow and
several pearl effects == 120+ damage per turn guaranteed. i've seen Jason's army
in action at a tournament. i've seen others like it. The Naga are broken as an
army.

Knowing exactly which combo you are talking about why not just ban
that combo? The Naga are so cool looking it a shame that they are not
allowed.

On another thought, what would it take to fix this issue? I take you
feel the revised profiles don't?
