Is this a matter of getting someone else to step up and run it? I am
certain we can find other storytellers.

I could use some volunteers to help stuff goodie bags on Thursday
evening. We'll meet at April's room at Comfort Suites after 6 p.m.
(exact time TBA). If we can get at least half-a-dozen people we can
be done in two hours or less. Please respond ASAP.
I found it really funny. Thought I was having a 'flashback to my youth when I was a natural blonde' moment.

I just found this on my MB. It was made by a college sci-fi club and the website given doesn't work but I thought it sounded neat. I put it here in case anyone would be possibly interested in running this at the con.
HUMANS VERSUS ZOMBIES 2K5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!EXPLOSIVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Web resources: Everything can be accessed from www.penguinlips.netfirms.com/hvz2k5e.html. Any modification to these rules after October 28th can be found there, under updates.
Universal Rules
Game Overview: HVZ2K5E is a game about zombies. There are two teams, the Human Resistance and the Zombie Horde. The goal of the Resistance is to outlast the Zombies until they all starve to death. The goal of the Zombies is to infect all of the Resistance, thus turning them into zombies.
To play HVZ2K5E
you must • Either love or hate Zombies • Live on Goucher Campus • Own a Bandana • Be ok with wearing a bandana around your head for (probably several) days. • Be ok with carrying three index cards around with you for the duration of time you spend alive. • Be ok with the roaming Zombie Horde chasing after you, eating your flesh, and then accepting you as their Zombie friend. • Be ok with being shot by a Nerf gun, or having a sock thrown at you. • Be ok with having your picture and/or other information displayed on a website “database.” • Fill out the application form before November 5th
Required Equipment: To play HVZ2K5E you must, as a member of the Human Resistance, carry three (3) Index cards with your HVZ2K5E ID number written on them at ALL TIMES. You must also have a bandana that can be warn as a headband (not du-rag).
Boundaries: You cannot be eaten in academic buildings. You cannot be eaten inside dining halls.
You cannot be eaten inside of any Goucher student’s room. Everywhere else is fair game. So long as a Zombie does not step into one of these places, they can tag you from the doorway.
ID number: Everyone will receive an ID number. We ask that you please remember it. And really, we ask so little. This is to make our job easier as far as managing who is alive and keeping track of how often Zombies are eating. You will need your number when submitting a Zombie kill and for your ID cards. The only time you should ever give someone else your ID number is when you are killed and give them your cards.
Crying: You will probably die at some point and become a zombie. Some people look forward to this. Some people don’t. For those that don’t, you’ll probably have to get over it.
About the rules: The rules might seem a little lengthy, but they’re here to automate (as much as possible) a game of a large size. We’ve tried to make them as simple as possible, but
understand if you have a problem understanding part of them. Please! Write us an e-mail, stop by our room, stop us in the hallway and let us know. We don’t want the rules to be a Burdon, just the opposite; they’re supposed to be here to make things easier. Read through them and if there’s any problem let us know.
Human Resistance Rules
Conditions for Winning: The only hope for the Humans is to wait until the Zombies starve to death. They can shoot a zombie, to temporarily disable it, but they cannot kill a Zombie. Cooperation and love are the only things that can save us in these dire times.
Optional Equipment: In order to fight off the Zombie Horde you may use any Nerf gun. The cheapest we’ve found is the Nerf Nite Finder EX-3. It costs 4 dollars and change at Wal-Mart and comes with a nifty “laser sight.” You can also throw balled up socks. Socks only count as hits if they are thrown.
Surviving: Unless you carry 40 balled up socks, two
Nerf gattling-guns and can run very fast for a long period of time, there is going to come a time in the game when you will need to start moving in packs. Cooperating with the remaining resistance members will be key to your survival. As it stands now, as it does in most Zombie movies, the Humans stand very little chance of winning. IT IS POSSIBLE, however, and if there are people who can manage to do it – kudos to you.
Staying on campus: To be fair and to avoid a possible loophole, if you leave campus for longer than 24 hours you will be considered MIA and removed from the game. Yes, you have survived the Zombie Horde, but AT WHAT COST. You left your poor comrades to die, coward. If for whatever reason you need to leave campus for longer than 24 hours, we apologize, but there are no exceptions.
When tagged by a Zombie: You are dead, sorry. Welcome to the Zombie Horde. In exactly one (1) hour from being tagged you will transform into a member of the Zombie
team. During this time it’s advised that you find your bandana so you can feed. Once tagged you are required to distribute all three of your HVZ2K5E ID cards to the zombie who tagged you. If there is debate as to who tagged you, give them to the person you believe did the tagging. The victim, you, has the final say as to who gets your cards.
Zombie Horde Rules
Conditions of Winning: The Zombies need to feed on Humans in order to stay alive. They do this by “tagging” a member of the resistance. Once tagged, this Human is immediately killed and will rise as a member of the Zombie Horde one hour from their death. So, when a Human is tagged, they switch from the Human team to the Zombie team. Once all of the Human Resistance has been depleted, the Zombie team wins.
Welcome to the Undead: You are now a part of some scientific experiment gone wrong. Or possibly you are the incarnation of all of the evil and sin in the world. Perhaps it’s simply that the
apocalypse is near. I guess we’ll never know. What we do know is that you are an unstoppable death machine. You can be shot and (though temporarily disabled) still go on kicking ass. But don’t get too relaxed, you’re not invincible; you can still starve to death. When you first become a Zombie your “starve” timer will begin from the time that you were reported killed. The timer is two days, or 48 hours. In order to reset this timer you must feed on the flesh of the living. If the timer ends without you having made a kill, you are a dead Zombie. That means you are officially out of the game. For those of you who get really into games like these, do yourself a favor. Take a deep breath. First of all, thank you for playing; it is you who make these games what they are. Breathe out. Now accept the possibility that you might be taken out of the game as explained above. It’s alright.
Wearing your Headband: Wear it. To make a kill it’s required that you have been
wearing a headband for the past half hour. There will be no walking past someone, giving them a high five, slipping your bandana on after they’ve walked by and tagging them. Don’t be a jerk about this, please. “What’s with the bandana?” - practice your answer now.
Feeding: When you, a Zombie, tag someone you will immediately (within two hours) submit a kill form. A kill form serves two purposes. Firstly, it registers the person killed as dead, and moves them to the Zombie team. Secondly, it resets the Zombie’s “starve” timer, giving them 48 hours until they need to feed again. When submitting a kill form you “use” one of the ID cards. The other two cards can be distributed as you see fit amongst your Zombie siblings. These “extra” cards can be reported by your Zombie siblings to reset their “starve” timers as well. However, they must be reported by midnight of the day that the kill is reported (or within 3 hours – for those kills that happen after 9pm).
Example:
Tom is tagged by Sarah. Sam and Steven are Sarah’s Zombie friends. Sarah reports Tom’s kill and Tom becomes a Zombie. Sarah also gives Sam and Steven the extra two ID cards. They report their ID cards. Sarah, Sam and Steven’s timers are all reset. Stanly, who Sarah doesn’t like (and thus didn’t get an ID card), starves to death.
Getting shot: When someone shoots you with a Nerf gun or throws a sock and hits you, you may not tag any Human Resistance player for the next 15 minutes. In addition, you cannot block or impair a Human’s path. For instance, if you are participating in a Zombie barricade and are shot, you must walk away from the barricade. If shot you cannot act as a “meat shield” for your Zombie friends. So in general, if you are shot - walk away.
“Tagging:” Just to be clear, all you need to do is tag someone for them to die. A tag is defined as touching some part of them. Grasping at a coat tail does not count; it needs to be a firm tag. However,
(and admittedly this is just to cover my own ass) if you pull some stranger to the ground and begin to mime-eat them and they get upset because you broke their arm you’ll be kicked out of the game. Just use common sense and all that – if they don’t make a big deal about it, we won’t make a big deal about it.
Pre-game and Early-game
The rules regarding the original Zombie are an exception to the rest of the Zombie rules. The game will play out like this:
At midnight on the 7th of November, the game will officially start. No one may be added to the game and everyone who has signed up and is on the website is officially playing. At some point the original Zombie will be chosen by a nonbiased third party. That third party will then contact the original Zombie (you can opt out on the application) and give them a time and date (sometime before the 10th). Between 7th and the 10th, there is no way of knowing whether anyone is infected. It could be practically
anyone. There will be no way of confirming that someone truly did “opt out of being the first Zombie” or whether they’re trying to lull you into a false sense of security.
What’s more is that the original Zombie, for the duration of the game, does not need to wear a headband. Word of mouth is the only way of knowing who the original zombie is. This is compensation for the original Zombie not having a shot at playing as a member of the Human Resistance, and to keep everyone on their toes.
Hate to tell you this Gilder, but there isnt a members tab in the group. Either that, or I am getting really lind in my young age

Need a volunteer to shoot candids for historical purposes at
ChimaeraCon 2006.
Would like snapshots of costume contest, door prize drawing, games
(with permission of GM and participants), and whatever else looks
interesting.
Volunteer need not provide camera; I can loan a simple "snapshot"
digital, or perhaps the committee will purchase a couple of disposable
film cameras.
Please contact April or myself on or off list if interested.
