The location we played during Friday night is not available to use for chess activity in 2008!
 
I understand that most players in Austin would prefer to have a rated and regular games on Sat. evening if possible based on survey. We will see any possible way if there is an opportunity in the future.
 
For now, participating Austin Chess Club is good way to stay active. If some scholastic players under 1200 rating, you may use the Yahoo groups such as AustinChessGroup and AustinChessGroup2 to organize your own "home" practice playground to help improving on chess!
