Many thanks to everyone who cast a Second Wind on Windmane Burrfoot. The good news is that he's healthy now, with 37 out of 47 health (which has been boosted by 10 because of one of the SWs remaining in effect). The bad news is that the Greater Blue Dragon followed him into the Fast-Moving Current. Windmane has exited the FMC and has moved a few sectors south, behind a wall. The Dragon is just about to move past the wall, aided by the FMC, and will be hot on his tail again. So - can someone please cast one more SW on Windmane at the start of the turn? My Assembly enchanter will be summoning a Wisp this turn, so it will be able to get healing items to Windmane after this turn.

Paul

Really sorry to hear that Paul, that's very bad luck. Nice of them to lay you off before Christmas. Best of luck finding something else.

Thanks for all your best wishes.

In the end it seems not to have been my day, my last day of employment was Wed 11th Nov, ho de hum..... Well hopefully I'll find a better company next time, it's a pity I didn't train to be a banker or a lawyer.... !

Things shouldn't be too bad in the interim, I did plan for this eventuality, so will be covered a bit for a little while. Fingers crossed and all that. I know many of you on LinkedIn, so you know my specialities and if you do hear of anything, please do drop me a line.

With time on my hands and when Chaldan reaches KLT I'll get out a new newsletter, I sort of realise its a bit overdue. Hopefully we'll have had people exploring upstairs and downstairs, so there'll be a bit of exciting news to publish!

Regards

Paul

Well, some of the healing may disappear at the end of the turn (it’s tied to the SW condition), but some is permanent. So extra SW’s are always useful – some of the benefit may be lost at the end of the turn, but the rest you keep.

I can’t remember the figures though, I’m afraid. But I agree about getting in a big hit of SW’s at the end of the turn (preferably just after the monster goes inactive, and followed by lots of healing).

No - the healing doesn't disappear.

Spreading the healing out doesn't seem sensible - I'd go for a big hit either at the end or the beginning of the turn.

I think that it does from the spell's description, but I seem to remember that one of my chars didn't suffer the loss when he had it cast on him ages ago. It could be that my memory is playing me false though.
