Chaldan,

I have the Expert Horsemanship Skill. I do not feel any different.
Are there any known increases in abilities with this skill, or is it
only a sort of 'pre-skill' requirement, for skills with actual gains?

J I earned the skill from a centaur meadows... and was given the Horse and Rider version... Bug reported after it 'matured' and got : Skill: Expert Mount...
