I make the odd post now and then about font-spotting (less as it becomes more
ubiquitous - spotted three more in the last five days and I'm rapidly reaching
the point where I just snap a pic for my vanity archives and then forget about
it), but I figure now is a good time to plug someone I didn't _have_ to spot,
because he's a legit Cumberland Fontworks customer:

With most of the font-users (T-shirt companies, restaurants, etc), there's not
much point sharing links here, but a lot of gamers enjoy hand-made blades ...
And on each one (click on the top two images for a zoom) there's a little logo
done in "Arvigo" (the same Cumberland font White Wolf uses (legitimately,
nowadays) for the Clan Nosferatu headers. Nifty stuff if you dig sharp pointy
things.
Another recent legitimate use related to "gaming" -- at least in the sense
lawmakers use the term! -- is at the high-tech "Beatles Revolution Bar" at the
Mirage in Las Vegas. Yikes! My own junky handwriting font, "Yank," is one of
many featured on a lighted wall display there showing off different Beatles tune
titles, or lyrics, or something like that :)
At some point I should probably devote a webpage to the topic of Cumberland
font-spotting, but I'm spinning enough plates at the moment ...
Hope this finds you well, and gaming often!
