If you are annoyed with Heroic style models and the Scale creep, than this is the place for you! The purpose of this group is NOT to complain about how so-and-so company made a really stupid looking model. Rather, it is a place where like-minded individuals can come and discuss how so-and-so company makes a really good looking model, and advise other wargamers on which models they should invest in if they like well proportioned minis.

There has been a trend in miniature companies lately to sculpt models in the "Heroic" style. In short, these are models with banana hands, olmec heads, and short stubby arms. Also, there is an annoying thing called "Scale Creep." You will know that a model has suffered the wrath of scale creep, when for example, it is labeled 15mm and measures 18mm from foot to eye.

CAMRA stands for "CAMpaign for Real Anatomy." This acronym was created by Mike Siggins of BattleGames magazine (Issue 3). I suggest that all members of this group get hold of a copy of the aforesaid magazine and read through Mr. Siggin's colume - it is wonderful! SOSAC stands for "StOp ScAle Creep" and was created by the author of this group (who particularly loves to see well proportioned models on the table!). The Olmec Head Derision Society was created by Allen Curtis (aka 'aecurtis) of The Miniatures Page.
