Is the goal of the proposal to make the battle for the EGP title
more interesting or is the goal to increase the popularity of individual
tournaments?
I was planning to attend the Barcelona 2010 EGP, because I was
not able to the last years. Does that mean that I may have to wait until 2011?

Roel

A summary:
Tom's proposal was selected.
There will be 6 EGP tournaments a year. (Best 4 scores counted)
Britain and France need to decide between themselves by November 21st
2009 who will have the EGP in 2010 and the other will have it in 2011.
I am plan to propose to the French that Cambridge holds the 2010 EGP.
(Since we already have an EGP sized room booked for 2010, we may as well
have the EGP in it.)
Geoff.
