Hi Michael,

 

We are (as you may have gathered) the Bristol Big ‘Uns. We play all sorts of wargames (although primarily Warhammer Fantasy there are always games of Blood Bowl, Magic, 40K, LOTR, Ancients, HoTT, 6mm Napoleonics and almost anything else our members have models & rules for.

 

We meet every Sunday at 6pm in a village north of Bristol called ‘Iron Acton’. It is (I am told) on a bus route, but as I am based in Chippenham I drive.

 

This discussion group is not used a lot as we have a very active website and forum on which everything and anything is discussed (from the new warhammer rules to the gorgeousness of Rackham’s models. This forum is also used to organize games.

The forum is easy to sign onto (no admin authorization to begin posting required), so come along, sign up and say hi to everyone – I know you’ll find everyone on the forum extremely welcoming and helpful.

They're back up now. The entire web host went down for a while - even their
own home page was offline so it must've been pretty catastrophic. Sorry for
the interruption to the service and thanks for the cheque. I don't know why,
but the website always seems to hit problems when I ask for money!

Sorry for the problems. Every single site associated with my web host
(including their own site) seems to be down at the moment. I've no idea why
- I'll try and get in touch with them and find out.
