I was in today & managed to play a little with Alex (dunno what his alias is in
here). It was really fun. Hoping to do it again!!!

Cheers,

I want to thank pirateware for helping teach me how to connect in Lackey. This
plugin is apparently different somehow from the earlier one. We played one
match, and it was awesome, and man was I rusty at building a deck with unlimited
possibilities :D

I haven't had any problems connecting to the Lackey server. But I've always been the only one with the Btech plugin. Loads of Magic, Pokemon, Warcraft etc etc games going on,.. but no Btech :-(

Ok I think I may have this Lackey program figured out, maybe. I was finally
able to get onto the LACKEY server and host a game. I am going to be on for a
good portion of the day Saturday the 14th, to see if I can get others to try it
out with me.

I will be logged into yahoo as well, so folks can IM me if you are having

If anyone is interested in giving this a try great - hope to see you around. I

You can email me as well if you know ahead of time that you want to try. That
way we can set up a meeting time or what not.

Good luck and hope to see some of you on.

Ok, I have found a few file sharing sites. I will be uploading and providing
download links; like this one,

http://www.badongo.com/file/18349798

When I get a couple more, I will remove the files I uploaded on this group site
and replace it with a Text File with all the download links in it. After that
time I will go back and replace all the files I had removed earlier.

Well I understand he removed files he put up, but its only a short term solution
at best, what if someone else wanted to upload something? It is shared group,
and btw, just because I commented on it did not mean I was being Harsh either.
If I had wanted to be harsh you would have seen a much longer 'rant' about it.

Is this one any different? I found a copy online previously and would really
like to not download the exact same files again.

I could have just posted the links for downloading the Files, but as with the
other few Online CCG programs listed here in the group, where the host sites are
now down - and most likely permanently, I didn't want this to happen for the
group.

If anyone has a nice file hosting site, let me know - and I will gladly dump the
files there and link them here.(something other than Rapidshare please)

Thanks,

I'm a mac user & I also spent 5 hrs last week & got it up & running with all cards/pics :-)

I've also just been playing solitaire against myself on it. Be happy to play against any1 of you - though I live in Sweden so there's quite some time difference.

It would have been simpler to host it elsewhere and post a link to it. Heck, I
could lend 100 MB of space for it no problem, as to remove all the files in the
Group. Of course noone was asked that I recall you just did it.

Well folks, it only took me 4 attempts and about 4hrs, but we now have it.
LackeyCCG with the BT:CCG plugin for everyones pleasure.

I had to remove every file I had in the group to get the LACKEY program to fit,

I won't keep it posted for very long, so get it while you can. I'm going to

Hello everyone,

I also have a custom airbrushed shirt that has the artwork of Bearers of McKinskis' Hammer for sale too. One of the guys I played with a lot did custom airbrushing on the side. I'll see if can post a picture of it here. The size is XL and it has been worn a couple of times, but I have washed and cleaned it. It looks like new.

Hey John, sorry to hear about your unemployment situation. I would really love to see a picture of that shirt if possible?

Many thanks,

You would only roll when a Vehicle receives damage. If it has damage counters
on it, and it goes on another mission and doesn't receive any damage, then you
don't reroll for the counters it already has.

Hi, this is John again.  Someone ask what I was looking to sell the cards for.  I'm open to offers and don't have any set price in mind.  Just something that sounds reasonable.  Your best bet is to send me an email at jolsonp@... and tell me what you are looking for.

Thanks,

John

Hello everyone,

I used to be a heavy Battletech card player back in the late 90's and loved playing the game up until WotC abandoned it. Due to my moving around a bit, I tossed most of my cards, but I did save all of my rares though. It is fun to look back at the cards and think back to all the fun I had back then. I am glad that I found this group and its nice to know that people still play the game.

Due to my unemployment situation, I'm willing to sell a lot of these cards. I have most of everything that was rare, except the Double Overtime card. Most of my collection are black boarder cards, some of them have the green boarder (second edition I think) and I have some of the commander edition cards as well. I have a lot of rare cards. If anyone is looking for some of them to complete a collection, shoot me a message here or email me at jolsonp@yahoo. com I'm in the western burbs of Chicago.

I also have a custom airbrushed shirt that has the artwork of Bearers of McKinskis' Hammer for sale too. One of the guys I played with a lot did custom airbrushing on the side. I have to roll AGAIN if he participates in a NEW mission (maybe during my next

oh right, of course, i was under the impression that you were saying you
couldn't first tap war funds for it's resource supply before using it's special
'scrap' ability to seek out another resource card from your deck. no i know
there isn't a 'resource pool' like a 'mana pool' in magic.

then use that DOLLAR to pay for the Weapons Depot...this you can not do...you
either spend it at the time of tapping it, or that BUCK is lost.

War Funds not being able to tap for a resource AND sac to grab a resource from
the deck. Is this a Wizards thing? Is there a ruling somewhere I don't know
about or is this a result of the phases in Battletech getting switched around
(something I still struggle to understand) In my view, Tapping for a resource
doesn't sacrifice the card, and sacrificing the card to search for a resource in
the deck does not require the card to be untapped first... Anyway, I could be
wrong, and if there's a ruling out there, i'm sure i am.

WAR FUNDS for the (R) and using it to pay for a resource card taken from the
stockpile. Where its a use it or lose it situation.

functionality. I could see if you had to {tap} WAR FUNDS or THINK TANK to use
the ability, then this senario doesn't work. But since your only tapping one
card to "scrap" another card...why can't someone use that cards "scrap"
function.

two cards", THINK TANK says "Scrap this card to choose any asset.", so whats
stopping me from saying im going to use Haakon Magnussons "TAP" ability to
activate the "Scrap" function of another card? Im scrapping THINK TANK via
HAAKON MAGNUSSON, so why don't I get to choose an asset provided by the "Scrap"
function?
