i'll take a look but dropships canbe used in this capacity. your GM
or the players will have to come to some agreement on the passes a
large dropship can make. Our campaigns usually restrict them to 1
pass per four turns or so, five or six if the dropships speed is
relatively slow compared to that of a fighter. Considering the
weaponry they can carry its enough. Also, bombs on a dropship should
be internal bay bombs. Im sure I ran across some info on internally
carried bombs somewhere and ill post it here when i find it.

... Sounds like a winner. Bombs might be a bit too powerful but game balance is up to the GM anyway. Don't waste your money on anything less than 2000 tons...
