I have never approved of the use of the Reaving/Corruption combo and that whole situation could have been fixed with the simple change to the Rod of

the Rod of Corruption was the problem when used in conjunction with the rod of reaving. Indivitually they were potent but not enough that they were unbalanced.

The main problem with Rod of Reaving was that it could kill a minion as a minor action without an attack roll and (assuming the warlock has already dealt curse
