Data Files are for Fantasy and for the latest books for Army Builder 2.2 ONLY!

THEY WILL NOT WORK FOR 3.0 AND ABOVE.

Download the .ab file to your hard drive. If the date is later than your last downloaded one then download the new one. Run Army Builder and import the new .ab file and you are done.

What if new updates don't seem to be updating my program?!?
There is a bug in AB2.2. It manifests itself in a blocking of new army files. So if you don't seem to have the fixes or new army listings, even after importing the new datafile try this:

1: Delete your copy of the downloaded datafile, named something like: "WFBv8v001h.ab"

2: Go into your "C:\armybuilder\data" folder (assuming a default install) and delete all of the ".wf8" files. These are the individual army and generic files that contain all of the WHFB version 8 data.

3: Re-download the current datafile (again, named like: WFBv8v001h.ab) and import it.

4: Cross your fingers and restart army builder!

If you spot any errors or bugs, post them here. BE SPECIFIC. What unit, what option, what should it be, what is your reference.

BUY THE BOOKS!

Army Builder is only a tool to create rosters. Do NOT assume what it puts down on paper is correct. Mistakes ARE in the files so use your army books to verify EVERYTHING before playing.
