Anno 1602 (or 1602 A.D) is a realtime strategy game, where you have to combine trade, battle and diplomacy to fulfill your tasks, or raise your settlement.

Anno 1602 was released 1997 and was a big hit in Germany. In 1998 it was realeased in the rest of the world. And after some time the sequel, Anno 1503, was released in Germany fall of 2002. The rest of the world had to wait for it in spring 2003.
