Dwarfs pay good silver for the use of services above ground, but if that offends you we can always spend our silver at home. There are many reasons that non-dwarfs are not welcomed into the City Beneath the Sea, chief amongst them being that all you stretched types would be constantly banging those wooden heads of yours on the ceilings, they're low you see, dwarf-sized you might say. We could always offer to cut you down to dwarf size to prevent this, but there are very few who would accept.

There are some amongst the true folk who council that it would be better if we allowed others to come and trade, arguing that your silver would be better in our hands. These people are reminded that our homeland is a sacred place, and to allow non-dwarfs to tread the hallowed halls would be an insult to the ancestors.

As for needing an army to protect yourself, if you respect our wish to keep our lands sacred you will have no need for such a force. If, however, you think you can use your 'defensive' force to gain entry to places you have no right to be, you will only have yourselves to blame for the consequences.

It seems to me that Lady Eleni d'Agrillac cannot accept the fact that someone has told her 'NO' and meant it. She now wishes to try to plunge the land into the chaos of war just to get her own way. If conflict she seeks then she is more than welcome to come and kiss my axe.

Bhazhak of the House of Dhumezhil

Friends, Islanders, Countryfolk,

Your attention please! Despite the efforts of a dwarf assasin I am here today to plead our cause against the evil dwarfs.

For too long have our traders allowed these dwarfs to purchase our goods and services, whilst we have been barred from enjoying the services in their city under the sea!

My Cousin Lord Argon d'Agrillac, Captain of the Silver Falcon Free company urges you all to join in an embargo of trade with the dwarfs until they open their gates to humans, elves and halflings.

Whilst the dwarfs have already stooped to violence in their attempts to prevent us organising, my cousin offers his services as general should it be nnecessary to form an army to protect ourselves against them.

Lady Eleni d'Agrillac, ranger of the silver falcons
