Annon thanked Emmeline for escorting him to an infirmary cot, by
planting a playful kiss on his fair cousin's cheek. "Thanks Coz! But
I could think of several better places in the castle, were you could
see to my well being in a more private setting." He teased her, but
winced a bit from pain, as he be bent to sit down on the cot.
Annon fumbled around a bit in his shirt till he brought out a silver
flask and raised it to his lips. Though his red headed Aunt
snatched his flask from him in mid gulp. She firmly pushed him flat
down onto the cot, and splashed some of the contents of the flask,
onto a large open wound on his leg.
"Ouch!" He cried out more in surprize then pain.
"That's a much better use for this scotch just now, young man."
Fiona said matter of factly as she examined his wounds, by poking
and proding them with several sharp metal instraments.
"Seems that Someone in the Courts sent you an invitation, that was
not well received, I see. Fortunately the poison was meant to
immoblize and not kill you."
"Gee I'll have to thank that Someone, next time I'm there." Annon
quiped.
"That's not really a bad idea at all. I'll have to recommend that to
Eric. We could use a bit of new info from the Courts. It would help
me on my research into this odd activity with the pulse."
Annon gave is Aunt a look of sudden disblief, before rolling his
eyes, and putting his head back onto the cot.
