There will be an Armati II Tournament at the 2009 Historicon on Sat. from 8am to
6pm sponsored by the Thuerophori Society. There will be three rounds with time
for a play off round if the tie breakers fail to produce a winner.

The era is AOE with both book and Wolsky approved Warflute lists allowed. Core
plus 75 points, Armati II as written with the rules clarifications posted on the
Warflute site by Wolsky.

There will be a first place prize and plaque. The Thuerophori Society is also
prepared to bestow its award of excellence for outstanding competitive play of
troops bearing the thueros to a player fielding an Hellenistic army with
Thuerophori or Thorakites on the table. We will have several Hellenistic armies
for use by those without who wish to compete for the award.
