Here's a suggestion that I have. Let me know if you'd like to see
something added or removed, changed or anything else. Most of it is
perhaps common sense, but it can be good for all active members flying
missions and new recruits to know.
1 - Have a look at the 918th Bomb Group Mission Statement by our
commanding officer Colonel Harry Higginbottem:
http://www.918archbury.com/GroupCommander.html#STATEMENT
2 - Follow the rules in the Rule Book and Tables. If you don't have
the rules or tables, they can be sent to you by email if you'd like.
3 - There is no rule book for the Emulator. It controls your destiny
and sums it up at the end of your mission log.
4 - Write an AAR. If you have little time, keep it simple.
5 - DON'T manipulate your die rolls and AAR. Be honest. Manipulation
ruins the experience for the honest fliers.
6 - When in doubt: Ask.
7 - Details of the mission can be found on the Briefing Board:
http://www.918archbury.com/BriefingRoom/BriefingBoard.html
8 - There are no penalties for missing a mission. If you have missed a
couple in a row your bomber and crew will be placed on the Inactive
Crews list. If you have time to fly missions later at anytime during
the campaign, all you need to do is to leave a message on the message
board letting the Adjutant's and Operations Offices know your new
active status.
9 - If you know that you will be away for a while and not have time to
fly any missions, leave a message. It may be possible to fly missions
you have missed later if not more than two or three. When in doubt: Ask.
10 - All mission alerts will be posted on this message board and sent
as a Special Notice, if I can remember to check that box, which I
hopefully will.
