Description

1907-2007 100 Years of 3-D Chess

Chess is a living game. Since its inception centuries ago it has evolved and grown in form and format to meet the more challenging demands of the descendants of its original inventors.

Three Dimensional Chess, in its various forms, is chess played in a multi-dimensional form and is another permutation of this enduring and familiar pastime of man.

3D chess is played on multiple levels, not just one. The pieces can move vertically as well as horizontally.

This list serves to network those interested in 3-D Chess. Members may also set up online games with each other.

For links to various kinds of 3-D Chess.

If you know others who might just enjoy the topic of 3-D Chess I encourage you to invite them to join the list.

"Chess, which exists predominantly in two dimensions, is one of the world's most difficult games. Three-dimensional chess is an invitation to insanity." - Robert Grudin
