Thanks for the info. I noticed after about 3 hours searching through
modlerforums and search engines that the 1/700 scale is it.
I also need to find 1.600 scale Jap planes and American planes.
I have scratch built the cvs already in 1/300 scale, but was not looking
forward in building dd's and cl's as escorts for the CV's. I have about half of
the aircraft for the CV's in 1/300 but I was wanting them in 1/600 to be able to
play a larger battle. I can wait a while....
Thanks

1/600, yet. I have a master for a CASABLANCA-class CVE that eventually will
see the mold box, and am working on a long-hull and short-hull ESSEX masters.

was the basis for our CVLs) that will be converted to light carrier
configuration, but that is a long term project. There is the distinct
possibility that I would use one as a master for a mold, but ships are expensive
to mold and are very much long-term projects for JTF600 Miniatures.

class is available from Dragon ( a pretty fair kit and around 28 bucks), and the
RYUJO was kitted by one of the Japanese "waterline consortium".
